Approximately 90% of Ooma revenue is recurring, delivered via the cloud from our unique multi-tenant SaaS platform. Our subscription heritage began with consumers in 2009 and extended to businesses in 2013, initially with small offices. Since our initial public offering in 2015, our business services scaled significantly and during 2020 our largest business customer had grown to more than 25,000 seats. During 1QF23 our business services revenue grew to more than 50% of overall services revenue and we expect it to continue to expand as a percentage of overall services revenue. While growing our unified communications capabilities, we continually strive to refine our solutions to provide the industry’s best customer economics and lowest costs, delivering subscription and services gross margin of more than 70%.
Business customers are driving us to expand further beyond North America. We are investing today in strategically located overseas data centers growing internationally, but today our revenues primarily come from customers in North America, where we have more than 2 million users, including those that use our Talkatone mobile app.
